It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Edward Harman (Bastian, Virginia), born in Rocky Gap, Virginia, who passed away on February 3, 2020, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Sutton Harman and Nannie Katherine Dinger Harman; his wife Sammie Lane Thompson Harman; his children, Kathy Diane Harman and Michael Edward Harman; and his siblings, Ruby Ilee Harman McGlen, Oreta Mae Harman Thompson, William Clinton Harman, Walter Sutton Harman, Jr., Curtis Lee Harman and Kenneth Lee Harman.
He is survived by: his daughter Jerri Elaine Harman (Keith Patrick Costello) of Rocky Gap, Virginia.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Pine Grove United Methodist Church Building Fund, c/o Billy Jean Carty, 15 Pine Hill Lane, Bastian, VA 24314.
