It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carles Cox of Bastian, Virginia, born in Buchanan, Virginia, who passed away on June 7, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Slemp Luther Cox and Cindy Van Dyke Cox; and his siblings, Sylvia Hagy, Ida Brockman, Wanda Feigi and Ray Cox.
He is survived by: his sister Ruth Woodall (Tim). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
