With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Karen Dunbar of Bastian, Virginia, born in Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on January 13, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Matherly and Ruby Genieve Coburn Matherly; and her sister Andrea Dawn Matherly (Henry Dunbar). She is survived by: her siblings, Bonita Simpson (Mike) and Randall Matherly (Carolyn); her nieces and nephews, Katrina Dobroski (Mike), Greg Atkinson (Anglea), Katie Huffstickler (Sam), K. C. Matherly (Lilja) and Kelly Simpson; and her granddaughters, Crissy Sheffield, Jamie Collins and Autumn Edenfield.
