He is survived by: his children, India Young, Cicely Young and Isaiah Young; his grandchild Benicio "Benny" Young; and his siblings, Janice Akridge (Jeffery), Leatrice Prunty, April Young, Berkley Hairston, Sean Young and Eric Hairston.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mountain View Baptist Church (430 Chestnut Knob Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Carver Memorial Gardens (2256 Carver Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112).
