She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Ward Reynolds and Macy McNeely Reynolds; her husband Wallace Garlick; her siblings, Lottie Reynolds, Nannie Wade Reynolds (Frederick), Aleen Chappell (Gene), J'Nell Oakes (Wyatt), Keren Smith (Herman), Spruce Reynolds (Nilla), Dillard Reynolds (Mamie), Joe Reynolds (Jessie) and Marshall Reynolds (Betty); and her brother-in-law Jack Reynolds.
She is survived by: her niece Regina Smith Washburn; her nephew Smith; and her sister Claire Reynolds. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Martinsville Chapel (1500 Kings Mountain Rd, Martinsville, VA 24115). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org) in honor of Virginia and her love of children.
