It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola C. Crews of Bassett, Virginia, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Lee Chaney and Bertha Craig Chaney; her husband Clinton Eugene Crews; and her siblings, Clarence Chaney and Vivian Cassell.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Koger (Marvin) of Stoneville, NC and Jeffery Crews of Bassett; and her siblings, Troy Chaney of Martinsville, Herbert Chaney of Bassett, Hursel Chaney of Martinsville, Velma Cassell of Fieldale, Virginia Prater of Martinsville and Barbara Frost of Bassett. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
