Trula Short Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Trula Short of Bassett, Virginia, born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on May 5, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harvey Boyd and Pearl Prince Lowe Boyd; her husband Massie M. Short; her grandson Christopher Piorkowski; and her brothers, Otis Boyd, Earl Ball and Charlie Ball.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Short (Melanie), Rhonda Garland (Robert) and Robin Goard (Larry); her grandchildren, Kevin Short, Tyfany Hall, William Greathouse, Raymond Dawson and Joseph Singleton; and her siblings, Harold Boyd, Gracie Keen, Goldie Davis and Nell Davis. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
