He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ray Shively and Virginia Rose Smith Shively; his brothers, Harold Shively and Alan Shively; and his daughter Tonette "Toni" Russ.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy F (Shively) and India Shively Stanfield (Brian) of Danville; and his siblings, Dewey Shively of North Carolina and Regina White (Kevin) of North Carolina. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
