We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2021, at the age of 80, Ruby Belcher of Bassett, Virginia, born in Henry County, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie "Lum" Carter and Ella Mae Myers Carter; her husband Allen Belcher; and her brother Lindsey Carter. She is survived by: her sister Doris Ashburn of Spencer; her stepdaughters, Susan, Sharon, Sherry and Sheila; her nieces, Renae Wagoner and Jennifer Carter; and her nephew Jeff Carter.

Due to Covid and weather conditions, the family asks that everyone dress casual. Burial will be private.
