With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Regena Gaye Goad Mabry of Bassett, Virginia, born in Laurel Fork, Virginia, who passed away on February 1, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fielden Odell Goad and Mozelle McPeak Goad; her husband J. C. Mabry; and her brother Freamo Goad. She is survived by: her children, Shannon Mabry (Hilda), Sheldon Mabry (Cynthia), Ramona Mabry Adams (Shaun) and Shane Mabry; her grandchildren, Brittany Mabry, Austin Mabry, Zachary Mabry, Ashley Adams and Taylor Prillaman; her great grandchild Aligha Smith; her siblings, Oumah "Lucky" Goad (Linda), Roland "Cooch" Goad (Shirley), Randall "Butch" Goad, Geneva "Squeaky" Goad and Ronnie Goad (Delilah); and her sister-in-law Joyce Goad.
Due to the governor's requirements for COVID 19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing should be observed when visiting the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stone Memorial Christian Church.
