He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Franklin Williams and Alice Lucas Williams; his stepdaughter Laura Thompson; his son Raymond Williams, Jr.; and his siblings, Patsy Robinson, Billy Ray Williams, Luther Williams and Emery Boddie Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Lynnette Crowe Williams; his sons, Samuel Williams (Dana) and Allen Williams (Misti); his stepson Raymond Flaneary, III; and his sisters, Shirley Yates, Brenda Murray, Doris Gillespie and Debbie Musick. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
