He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Nixon Jr.; his brother Christopher Nixon; and his close friend Russ Hanlin. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Nixon; his children, Jamie (Frank Tabshey), Marc Nixon, Cortney (Chad Williams), Michael (Kristin Moscariello) and Tyler (Molly Moscariello); his stepdaughter Christel Crownshaw; his grandchildren, Ava, Olivia Tabshey, Mason and Nathan Williams; his stepgranddaughter Fiona Maksuti; his mother Johanne Nixon; and his siblings, Patti (Chipper Johnson), Marie (Karen Nixon) and Kelly Nixon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
