Melvin Bryant Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2021, at the age of 73, Melvin Bryant of Bassett, Virginia, born in Eden, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lidge Bryant and Lois Bryant; and his siblings, Phillip Bryant (Trudy), Benson Bryant, Ronnie Bryant, Billy Bryant (Edith) and Nancy Hopkins.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Thompson Bryant; his daughter Karen; his son-in-law Jason Vaughan; his grandchildren, Emma and Evan Vaughan; his sisters, Gloria Wilkins, Margaret Stump (Richard) and Muriel Caldwell (Jim); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Bryant, Linda Bryant and Howard Hopkins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many special friends, in laws.
Due to the governor's requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing is to be observed when visiting at the church.
