She was predeceased by: her parents, Elder James and Christine Akridge; her daughter Lois Akridge Galloway; and her siblings, Joseph, Johnny, Robert Akridge, Hattie Edwards and Hastie Moore.
She is survived by: her daughter Sabina Akridge King; her grandchildren, Carlton Akridge (Allison) and Stephanie Penn (Ceron); her son-in-law Connell Galloway; her great grandchildren, Bella Akridge, Mahcori, Malachi, Malcolm Chapman (MJ), Kayla Griffin and Arianna Galloway; her siblings, Rev. James Akridge (Lillie Mae), Elizabeth Norman, Ruth Akridge and Marie Akridge; her niece Bernice Woods (George); her nephew Joey Akridge (Teresa); her grandson Demond; and also Bossman.
The family appreciates all acts of kindness and asks you to place cards, food or other items brought to the home on the back porch and sign the register due to health issues and the Covid epidemic. Due to the governor's requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is required and social distancing is to be observed.
