It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther Willie Wagoner of Bassett, Virginia, born in Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on July 8, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Wagoner and Rachel Rife Wagoner; his son Tony Wagoner; and his siblings, Christine Deal, Reva Crowder, Lula Brown, Naylene Nichols, Bernice Davis, Timy Chapman, Johnny Wagoner and Howard Wagoner.
He is survived by: his son Rev. Ricky Wagoner; his grandsons, Ricky Wagoner, Jr. and Calvin Gallimore; and his siblings, Billy Wagoner and Jean Bradbury. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
