She is survived by: her husband Maurice D. Ruddle; her daughter Lisa Leigh Ernest (David); her siblings, Nancy Talbot and Jim Wright; her stepgrandchildren, Nicole Ernest and Drew Ernest (Emily); and her stepgreat-granddaughters, Olivia Ernest and Charlotte Ernest.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stanleytown United Methodist Church or Blue Ridge Regional Library.
