With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta Lucille Davidson Boyd of Bassett, Virginia, who passed away on January 17, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Davidson and Ethel Jennings Davidson; her daughter Debbie Hooker; and her siblings, B. J. Davidson, Joy Bryant and Madeline Sharp.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin Ball (Carl) of Bassett; her granddaughters, April Rigney (Chris) of Roanoke and Amanda Spangler; her great grandchildren, Johnathan Chappell, Danielle Chappell and Landon Rigney; her brother Cecil Davidson (Louise) of Austinville; her sister-in-law Faye Davidson; and her niece Judy D. Hodges. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to the governor's requirements for COVID 19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing should be observed when visiting the funeral home.
