She is survived by: her husband Robert Hairston, Sr.; her children, James Baker (Peggy) of Greensboro, NC, Cephis Hairston (Erika) of Roanoke, VA, Robert Hairston, Jr. of Bassett, VA, Rodney Hairston (Sarah) of Radford, VA, Odean Shelton (Ben) of Cascade, VA, Georgia Smith (Lee) of Roanoke, VA, Vivian Hairston of Bassett, VA, Diane Hairston of Bassett, VA and Mattie Hairston of Fieldale, VA; and her siblings, Terry Hairston of White Plains, NY and Grace Ann Wilson of White Plains, NY. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
