We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2021, at the age of 72, Joseph William Jefferson of Bassett, Virginia, born in Martinsville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Edward Jefferson and Annie Sue Brim Jefferson; and his sister Doris Stone. He is survived by: his wife Anna Palmer Jefferson; his children, Jerry Jefferson (Donna) of Rocky Mount, Dane Jefferson (Sara Toering) of Atlanta, GA and Bernadette Stowe (Tony) of Stuart; and his siblings, Chester Jefferson of Elon and Becky Hale (Flick) of Collinsville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to the governor's requirements for COVID-19, a face covering is required and social distancing is to be observed.
