We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2021, at the age of 69, Jesse Lee Mize Sr. of Bassett, Virginia, born in Henry, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Brooksie Mize of Bassett and James Elbert Mize; his brothers, William "Billy" Mize, Russell Mize, Leonard Mize and Johnny Mize; his nephew Sidney George; his former wife Sandra Griffin Mize; his children, Christine Strider (Jeff), Leslie Mize and Jesse Lee Mize, Jr.; and his sisters, Lillie Thomas and Judy "Dumpy" Wilson. He was also cherished by four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Due to the governor's requirements for COVID-19, a face covering is required and social distancing is to be observed.
