He is survived by: his wife Judy Cook Compton; his son Corwin Compton (Vickie) of Collinsville; his granddaughters, Lori Compton and Krista Compton; his great grandchildren, Sadie Brown and Ilianna Duran; his siblings, Cleo Spencer of Collinsville and Larry Compton of Sacramento, CA; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Kelley of Stuart and Peggy Kiss of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
