We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2022, at the age of 98, Jacqueline Thompson Stone of Bassett, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Major Bunyan Thompson and Sallie Stone Thompson; her husband Silas Stone; and her son Truman Stone. She is survived by: her children, Ellen Ingram, Sandra Stone (Carroll), Kay Smith, Becky Oakes (Francis), L. B. Stone (Dot), Randy Stone (Mary) and Dwayne Stone (Phyliss); her sister Dirvie Hall; and her grandchildren, Bobby Stone, Lavonda Foley, Deanna Edwards, Gwen Handy, Brad Stone, Jared Smith and Britny Ellis. She is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
