It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Dempsey Cole Jr. of Bassett, Virginia, born in Eden, North Carolina, who passed away on June 25, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Dempsey Cole, Sr. and Ruth Marie Cole (Long). He is survived by: his siblings, Pete Cole, Michael Cole, Jimmy Cole, Helen Crawford (Cole), Loveleen Redmond (Cole) and Annette Reihl (Cole); his sons, David and Jason Cole; his daughters-in-law, Bridget and Tracey Cole; and his grandsons, Dylan Cole and Joshua Todd.
