She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Rochester Vann, Sr. and Martha Anderson Vann (Payne); her significant other Adron Gene; and her sisters, Mary Carolyn Vann and Lucy Rochester Vaughn (Vann).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Barry Fizer of Tweeds Head, Timothy Eugene Fizer (Lorainne Hench) of Parkton, Amy Janine Fizer Bickel (Steve) of Tura, Meghalaya and India; her grandchildren, Rachel Bickel, Andrew Bickel (Karen), Anna Bickel, Sarah Bickel, Philip Bickel (Megan), Nathaniel Bickel, Hannah Fizer and Benjamin Fizer; and her brother Luther Rochester Vann, Jr. (Jeanette). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
