She was predeceased by: her father George Robert Adkins; her husband David Lynwood Shively (Dock); her siblings, Arthur, Grady, Noah, John Adkins, Ethel Wilson, Florence Boiling and Mildred Eanes; and her stepmother Lelia Cockram Adkins.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Riddle Greer (Danny) of Fieldale and Roger Riddle (Debbie); and her stepgranddaughter Kimberly Allred of Lexington, N. C..
