It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hattie Frances Martin Turner of Bassett, Virginia, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Taylor Martin and Etter Purdy Martin; her husband Daniel V. Turner, Jr.; her children, Timothy Daniel, Roger Lee and Rebecca Ann; and her siblings, Sanford, Roy, Arthur, Irene, Christine and Mildred.

Hattie also lost her son, Tim, to covid in October 2020.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blackberry Building Fund or Patrick Henry Fire Department.
