It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Edmond Cobbler of Bassett, Virginia, born in Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Stone Cobbler; and his sister Cheryl Cobbler. He is survived by: his father Lewis Edmond Cobbler; his wife Billie I. Cobbler; his daughters, Helen Marie Carter, Crystal Dawn Davis and Jennifer Lynn Davis; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Jane Shornack, Treva Jean Richards and Woodrow Jackson Bryant, III; and his siblings, Randall Cobbler and Linda Stovall. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Due to the governor's requirements for Covid-19, a face covering is required and social distancing is to be observed.
