He was predeceased by: his parents, Famous M. Hairston, Sr. and Ruby Turner Hairston; his uncles, Moten Turner, Jr. and Early Hairston, Jr.; and his cousin Anthony Kwayne Wimbush.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Edna Hairston (Earl) and Bryson Anwar Hairston; his grandchildren, Sanaa Brianna Hodge and Eric Denard Hodge, Jr.; and his cousins, Marquita Hairston, Ramona Wimbush, Renee Wimbush, Shannon Penn and Kim Wimbush.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bassett Funeral Service (3665 Fairystone Park Hwy, Bassett, VA 24055). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
