He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Amos and Ada Rigney Amos; and his siblings, Donald, Richard, Charlie Amos, Christine Amos and Nancy Bray.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Waller Amos; his daughters, Julia Amos Romero (Chris) and Jeanie Amos Long (Chad); his grandchildren, Jacinda Romero, Stephanie Romero and Trey Long; his brother Alfred; his sister-in-law Betty Amos; and his sister Shelby Waller.
