He is survived by: his children, Helen Parnell, Shirley DeHart, Dallas Franklin and Darren Parnell; and his brothers, Robert L. Parnell, Sr., Herbert Edward Parnell and Wink Parnell. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
