Underwood of Bassett, Virginia, born in Ferrum, Virginia, who passed away on July 20, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie L. Underwood and Mary Maggie Radford Underwood; his wife Frances O'dell Underwood; his daughters, Elizabeth Ann Wells and Barbara Jean Underwood; his grandchild J. J. Robinette; and his siblings, Curtis Underwood (Ruby), Glendora Miller (Ernie), Margie Martin (Troy) and Iris Underwood.
He is survived by: his children, David L. McDaniel (Sherry), Harry L. Underwood (Debra) and Linda F. Underwood; his grandchildren, Tammy, Barry, Johnny, Kevin, Amanda, Cody, Megan, Patrick and Parker; his great grandchildren, Erica, Lindsi, Tyler Lee, Bradley, Courtney, Caleb, Zane, Corbin, MacKenzie, Hailey and Avery; his great great grandchildren, Jansen, William Tate and Rowan; and his sister Betty Nickelston.
