In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Carol Turner had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Carol Turner may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McKinley Turner, Sr. and Mary Alice Koger Turner; her husband Troy L. Adams; and her sister Janet Whitlow. She is survived by: her daughter Tanya Adams Verlik (Sean); her grandson McKinley Sean Verlik (Caitlyn); and her brothers, James Ronald Turner (Vicki) and Charles McKinley Turner, Jr. (Patricia).
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Blackberry Baptist Church (3241 Stones Dairy Rd, Bassett, VA 24055). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the Blackberry Baptist Church Cemetery (3241 Stones Dairy Rd, Bassett, VA 24055).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Blackberry Baptist Church General Fund or to the Blackberry Cemetery fund at 3241 Stones Dairy Rd, Bassett, VA 24055.
