She was predeceased by: her parents, Judy Nolen Pate and Claude Pate; and her brothers, Warren Pate and Mansford "Mance" Pate. She is survived by: her husband James "Toby" Sigmon; her son Randy Sigmon (Susan) of Collinsville, VA; her sister Nancy Gibbs of Bassett, VA; and her grandchildren, Emily and Dylan Sigmon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
