He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverige Franklin Handy and Helen Fretwell Handy; and his father-in-law William D. "Dub" Hudson, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hudson Handy; his sister Betty Lou Wasoski (John); his mother-in-law Doris Hudson; his siblings-in-law, Tommy Hudson, Michael "Mike" Hudson (Tina) and Connie Bray (Jimmy); his nieces and nephews, Tyler Bray, Emily Bray, Zachary Hudson (Erin) and Michelle Weaver (Cole); and his close friends, Paul T. Kennedy Jr. and Daryl B. Martin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bassett Funeral Service (3665 Fairystone Park Hwy, Bassett, VA 24055). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Henry Memorial Park (8443 Virginia Ave, Bassett, VA 24055).
