It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ruth Ingram Nolen of Bassett, Virginia, born in Henry County, Virginia, who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tobe Spencer Ingram and Ora Dodson Ingram; and her husband Alfred Charles Nolen. She is survived by: her children, Linda Nolen Joyce (Bernie) and Roger Dale Nolen (Jeannie Conner) of Bassett; her granddaughters, April Dawn Nolen, Ashley Joyce-Bagwell (Scott) and Erin Kathleen Joyce of Charleston, SC; her great grandchildren, Westin Joyce-Bagwell and Elizabeth Joyce-Bagwell of Bassett; and her sisters, Barbara Ingram Ferguson of Martinsville and Alma Ingram Randall of Bassett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the governor's requirements for COVID 19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing should be observed when visiting the church..
