It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Wimbush Manns of Bassett, Virginia, born in Henry County, Virginia, who passed away on February 25, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wimbush and Amanda Williams Wimbush; her daughter Shirley Mae Manns; and her siblings, Lucy Thomas, Ruby Ross, Sally Beth Wimbush and Percy Wimbush.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Manns (Linda), Kenny Manns (Velma), Buddy Manns (Francine) and Kitty Lou Estes (J. R.); and her siblings, Andrew Wimbush and Lessie Manns. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
Due to the governor's requirements for COVID 19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing should be observed when visiting the funeral home.
