He is survived by: his wife Marie Stone; his children, Becky Koger (Lee), Debbie Adams (Dean) and Robert E. Stone (Teresa); his grandchildren, Justin Adams (Michelle), Larkin Stone (Samantha) and Charlie Koger; his great grandchild Robert Edward Stone II; and his siblings, Roy Stone (Marie), Ken Stone (Jeanette), Elsie Perkins, Doris Newton (Ray), Virginia Williamson (Jack) and Dorothy Freeman (Billy). He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bassett Funeral Service (3665 Fairystone Park Hwy, Bassett, VA 24055). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Of the Brethren Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bassett Ruritan Club.
