He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Davis Peters and Mary Madeline Thompson Peters; his wife Teresa Lynn Peters; and his siblings, Joyce Williams, Robert Clay Peters (Nellie) and Davis "Dave" Peters.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Barker (David) and Eric Parks (Ashley); his siblings, Carolyn Duncan, Jasper Wayne Peters, Everett Hugh Peters and Henry Dale Peters; his grandchildren, Leland Barker, Jordan Barker and Liam Barker; and his nephew Jaden Burnette. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
