He is survived by: his daughters, Katherine Hylton Sharpe (Kathy) of Bassett and Carol Hylton Hancock (Ken) of Bassett; his grandsons, Travis Hancock (Laura) of Newport News and Jordan Hancock of Fredericksburg; his great grandchild Leah of Newport News; his brother George "G. C." Cabell Hylton (Margaret) of Stuart; his stepson Johnnie Puckett of Stuart; and his sisters, Gay Nell Floyd of Stuart, Estelle Rakes of Patrick Springs, Virginia Sheppard of Patrick Springs and Redith Shough (David) of Patrick Springs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
