She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert L. Parrish and Jennie Hayes Parrish; and her siblings, James, George, Joe, Willie Parrish, Mamie P. Smith, Louise Simmons, Odessa Leggins, Corine Elena Parrish, Alma Shirley Taylor and Clara Hayes.
She is survived by: her son Ray Lee "Mitch" Parrish (Alma) of South Hill, VA; her grandson Courtney Parrish; her niece Veronica Brummell; and her brother-in-law Meritt Leggins. She is also survived by relatives and caring friends.
