She is survived by: her daughter Scarlett B. Courter (Carlton); her grandson James Carlton Courter, IV (Carl); her brother George R. Ferguson, Jr. (Christine); and her niece Beth Farrar Lett.
A reception was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethany Baptist Church (1787 Baskerville Rd, Baskerville, VA 23915).
