David Adams Obituary
David "Tyler" Adams, 16 of Barren Springs, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
Born on Saturday, November 20, 2004 in Pulaski he was a son of Dustin Adams and April Gallimore. Tyler was preceded in death by his uncle Brad Ratcliffe; grandfather, Paw Paw Bo Ryan; and great uncle, David Nester.
Tyler recently finished his 10th grade year at Fort Chiswell High School where he made an impact on the lives of the other students daily. Together, Tyler and his partner-in-crime George, were inseparable at school – whether that was attending classes or in suspension together. He had a charismatic aura that was felt by all those around him and left you guessing at what his next move would be. Tyler, like all teenagers, had a little bit of a rebellious nature in him that kept his family and friends on their toes. He enjoyed moped riding, four-wheeling, and hanging out with his friends and extended family. Tyler's most quoted lines were always, "too high to fly," and "the good die young and legends never die.".
Tyler will be sorely missed by his father Dustin Adams and his wife Faith; mother, April Jo and Marty; girlfriend and love of his life, Bri Rowe; brothers, Hunter Wayne, Dylan, Landon Haiz, George Bays, and Dawson; sisters, Madison, Natalie, Bridget Rena, Brittany Ann, and Addie; maternal grandparents, Jerry Gallimore and Barbara and Dale Gravley; and paternal grandparents, Doug Adams and Debbie and Cecil Snyder. He will also be cherished by his uncle "daddy" D.J. Adams and Jessie; aunts, Bre Hurst and Kristy Ratcliffe and her daughter, Kayden Nykole; his second "mom and dad," Tommy and Jeri Bays; and, Frank and Debbie Aker, Melissa and Doug Moore, and Angel and Billy Pistory.
A funeral service will be conducted 11:00am Monday, May 31, 2021 at Riverview Church of God, 2703 Wysor Hwy, Draper, VA with Rev. Eddie Dalton officiating. Interment will follow at the Black Cemetery, Barren Springs, VA.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00pm Sunday, May 30, 2021 at the church.
Reese Funeral Home, Austinville, is caring for the family.
