He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Carter Hughett and Rachel Hardy Hughett; his daughter Kathy Olinger; his granddaughter Terri Foutz; and his siblings, Richard Hughett, Irene Worrell, Janie Spangler and Phyllis Hanks.
He is survived by: his wife Dana Smith Hughett; and his brothers, Sandy Hughett (Misty), Max Meadows, Alfred Hughett (Myrtle) and Pulaski.
