The memory of Ernest Wright Sr. of Barhamsville, Virginia, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul S. Wright and Janice Miller; and his brothers, Gilbert Wright and John Wright. He is survived by: his wife Orpha; and his children, Denise, Jack Jr. (Paula), Deanna and Melissa. He is also survived by one great-great-granddaughter, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Lebanon Christian Church (409 Yorktown Rd, Newport News, VA 23603).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made out to St. Jude.
