She was predeceased by: her mother Juliana Vipperman Bowman; her son James Gregory Hale; her siblings, David Bowman, Buck Bowman and Marjorie Bowman Herndon; and her half-siblings, Clint Bowman, Guy Bowman, Vernie Bowman, Nina Taylor and Sue Reynolds.
She is survived by: her son Greg; her husband James R. Hale; her daughter Debbie Hale Borders (Steve); her grandchildren, Wendy Hale Wright (Bob) and James Carson Cain (Brittney); and her great grandchildren, Lexi Wright, Landon Wright, Brian Dopp and Haley Cain.
