He was predeceased by: his parents, José Ramos and Emma Catherine Richmond Ramos. He is survived by: his wife Martha Rebecca "Becky" Phillips Ramos; his sons, Joe Jr. (Michelle) and Michael (Patsy); his sisters, Mary Clinedinst (Ronnie), Lorraine Martin (Billy) and Juanita Hendricks (Tommy); and his niece Joanna Heath (George). He is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
