She was predeceased by: her parents, Beverly Lee Crawford and Rena Moubray Crawford; her husband Roy Oscar Barden; her brothers, Beverly Lee Crawford Jr. and John E. Crawford; and her grandson Thomas Luther Barden Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Ann Hamshar (Andrew) of Barboursville, Thomas Luther Barden (Marti) of Cookville, Tenn, Roy Oscar Barden Jr. (Vicki) of Barboursville and Timothy Broderick Barden (Wanda) of Ruckersville; her stepdaughter Cheryl Whittle (Dickie) of Lancaster; and her grandchildren, Travis Hamshar, Shannon Manke, Leigh Ann Isenhower, Tasha Lam, Roy Oscar "Trae" Barden III and Bobbi Jo Weeks. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
