She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Stephens and Thelma Eileen Kitts Stephens; her brother John William Stephens, Jr.; and her son Charles William Young. She is survived by: her husband Charles Benny Young of Bandy, VA; her daughter Jennifer Lynn Young Bogle (Steven Douglas Bogle) of Bandy, VA; her grandson Jacob Charles Bogle of Bandy, VA; her sisters, Deborah Stephens Misak of Bluefield, WV and Rebecca Stephens McCloud of Bandy, VA; and her sisters-in-law, Camella Stephens of Hampton Roads, VA and Betty Lawson (James) of Bandy, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donation to Legacy Hospice, Richlands, VA.
