She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Lee and Ruby Isabella Hess Gilbert; her son-in-law Billy Wayne Ammons; and her sisters, Linda Gale Hagy, Terri Ann Gilbert and Janet Christian.
She is survived by: her children, Teressa White Ammons of Bishop, VA, Austin White (Teairra Scott) of Bishop, VA and Donald Steele of Bandy, VA; her sister Debbie Asbury of Bishop, VA; her grandchildren, Kaden Ray Ammons and Ezekiel Steele; her aunt Elsie Williams of Danville, KY; her brother-in-law Roger "Duke" Hagy of Bishop, VA; her nieces and nephews, Shon Hagy of Beckley, WV, Marcus Allen Ward of Bishop, VA, Jordan Hagy of Oklahoma, Cory Ward of Jewell Ridge, VA, Kaitlin Montaigne of Carmichaels, PA and Rachael Ward of Jewell Ridge, VA; and her close friends, James White of Bishop, VA and Teresa "Terry" Asbury of Canebrake, WV. She is also survived by Her dogs that see loved dearly, Mercy and Saphria; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
