He is survived by: his wife Ellen Byrd; his children, Craig Byrd and Arlene Davis (Sid); his granddaughter Jody Bandy (Adam); his stepgrandson Joshua Sparks (Vivian); his great great grandchildren, Michael Bandy and Olivia Bandy; and his siblings, Hubert Byrd, Raleigh Byrd, Charlie Byrd, Mary Johnson and Trula Hardy.
